In the words of Dr. Laura, "I am my husband's wife and my kid's mom." I have been blessed to be married for 25 years to my amazingly patient husband, and we have 4 fantastic children (and 1 awesome daughter-in-law) ages 22 (22), 19, 17, and 15. I spend my days trying to be a better wife, mother, neighbor, friend, and overall person. I have a part time position as the 3rd grade teachers aide at my children's school. Will I ever become the person I would like to be? Let's just say that it's a good thing eternity is such a LONG time...
I wish every teacher had this posted in their classroom, and every parent had it posted in their home... I know I need to be better at remembering it...
We all have a little Einstine in our life. May we learn to recognize him for the gift he is today instead of waiting to quote him when he's dead. Different in challenging, uncomfortable, confusing even but different is one of our Father in Heaven's greatest gifts. How many ways has something different blessed you life? I dare you to stop with only 10 :)
